NY Daily News ~ Event at Henri Bendel: Body & soul Find your dosha at Body Bistro's event Monday at Henri Bendel. You can sample products from the red-hot Ayurvedic skin-care line, which uses unrefined herbal extracts from Nepal, Burma, Tibet, Mongolia and India. Plus, founder Carina Chatlani and crew will be offering free dosha (body type) analysis, marma-point massages, Tibetan henna hand art and Vedic astrological consultations. (Confused? They'll explain when you get there.) Tibetan tea and appetizers will also be served at the event, which runs from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on the main floor. Shoppers will pocket a free gift - Himalayan slippers and a grapefruit/gotu kola shower gel - with any purchase greater than $75. And why not splurge on a line that contains all-natural goodies like tapioca/soy milk bath infusion ($38) and apricot/clove cleansing gel ($25)? Your karma will thank you.
